The Hexagon Market Share

The benefits of a CSA with far more flexibility. A great way to buy local produce and support our small farm! Order here or visit us at the market or farm.

Hexagon Market Share for the 2020 Season

2020 Market Shares are no longer available, but we look forward to welcoming Share members in 2021!

THANK YOU for visiting our site and considering a Market Share. This program allows us to raise much needed funds, especially in early spring, it reduces the number of financial transactions we (and you!) have to make, and it allows us to get to know our customers a little better. We’d be glad to have you.

How it Works

A share costs $150 and entitles you to $160 worth of garden seedlings (May-June) and/or produce (May-October) during the 2020 growing season. Purchases can be made throughout the season, with the amount deducted from the original $160. We will gladly let you know your remaining balance any time. We anticipate offering the shares all season, so if the balance runs low mid summer, a second share may be purchased.

Where to Use it

Hexagon is happy to be vending in 2020 at the Menomonie Farmers Market and in Minneapolis at the Midtown Farmers Market. Both markets run on Saturdays from 8 to 1 (so you won’t get to see Nick and Pat together!). The farm is also open for plant and produce purchases on Fridays from 2 PM until 7 PM (May through October). If other days/times are strongly preferred, get in touch and we will be happy to work it out with our produce share members. Also, note that the produce availability list will be updated on our homepage at the beginning of each week.

Why a Market Share?

The Market Share offers participants a $10 discount on $160 of product, and you will also receive bonus items like specialty fresh herbs at select times! The shares help us to keep our prices reasonable by minimizing financial transactions, including the temptation to accept credit cards. If you’ve been interested in CSA, or have tried it but prefer the flexibility of markets, this option may be perfect!
